TipGoogle’s Gemini agent moves into Gmail, Calendar and Docs
Google is bundling its AI features into an agent that works directly in the apps you already use.
At Gemini at Work 2026 Google presented “Gemini agent” for business: an agent that plans the work, uses tools and works directly in Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets and Calendar.
For consumers, Gemini in Gmail and Docs is included in the Google AI plans. In Sweden, Google AI Plus costs SEK 55/month and Pro SEK 255/month (one.google.com, 15 Oct 2026).
Google AI Pro also includes Gemini Spark and family sharing with up to five people.
For families: let Gemini pick dates out of school emails into the calendar, or summarise long email threads.
How to get started
- Check whether you already have Google AI via Google One – many people do without knowing.
- Open a school email in Gmail and ask Gemini: “Add all dates to the family calendar.”
- Turn on family sharing so more people in the household benefit from the same plan.
- If you do not need 5 TB of storage, AI Plus is often enough.
