Your answers are processed only in your browser and are not sent to us. We use no cookies and no tracking.

Pro unlock in the Prompt Workshop

If you are a Pro customer and click the unlock link in our email, an unlock code (your email address in encoded form, subscription type, expiry date and a signature) is saved in your browser’s local storage (localStorage). It is not a cookie and is only used to show the complete prompts. The code is checked against our server when you open the Prompt Workshop. You remove it by clearing site data for tipai.se. It expires after 31 days.

If you buy a starter pack (SEK 19), an unlock code for the pack is saved in your browser’s local storage in the same way. It is valid for five years so that you can open your prompts again, and you remove it the same way.

The website

When you visit the website, our web host Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) logs your IP address for operational and security reasons. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). The transfer to the USA is based on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Logs are kept for up to 7 days; a smaller sample and security logs may be kept for up to 12 months. You have the right to object to the processing.

Visitor statistics: We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. We only see aggregated statistics, such as the number of visits, which pages are read, which website the visitor came from and which country the visit came from. We cannot see who you are. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). We also run our own simple counter that only stores anonymous daily totals (page, language, country, where the visit came from, campaign tag in the link and device type), without cookies, IP addresses or IDs.

Purchases and payments

Payments for TipAI Pro, cheat sheets and starter packs are handled by Stripe. You pay on Stripe’s payment page and your card details go directly to Stripe. We never see them. We receive your email address, what you bought and whether the payment went through. We use this to deliver what you bought, email you unlock and download links, check that you have an active Pro subscription and handle cancellation and withdrawal. Legal basis: contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) for bookkeeping. Stripe processes the data on our behalf and is, for some purposes such as fraud prevention, an independent controller; see Stripe’s privacy policy. Accounting records, such as receipts, are kept for seven years after the end of the calendar year of the purchase, as required by the Swedish Bookkeeping Act.

The withdrawal form

If you use the withdrawal form on the Terms & right of withdrawal page, your name, email address, the service concerned and the contract date are sent to us, and you receive an acknowledgement of receipt. The emails are sent via Resend. We use the data to cancel the subscription in Stripe and issue a refund. Legal basis: legal obligation (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)). The message is kept in our email as a record of the case.

The newsletter

If you subscribe, we process your email address to send the newsletter. If you also tick TipAI Quick Check (Snabbkoll), we save your consent (date and time) and send short quick news at most once a day, only when something important happens. You can unsubscribe from Quick Check separately without leaving the weekly newsletter. We also measure whether emails are opened and which links are clicked, to improve the newsletter. Legal basis: consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). We use Resend, Inc. (USA) as a processor; the transfer is based on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. The data is kept for as long as you subscribe. Subscribing is voluntary. You can unsubscribe via the link in every email.

How to unsubscribe: Click the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of an email and confirm. You can also use your email program’s unsubscribe button, if it shows one, or email [email protected]. You unsubscribe from TipAI Quick Check separately via the link in the Quick Check emails. Once you have unsubscribed, your address is marked as unsubscribed so that you receive no further emails. If you want the address deleted completely, email [email protected].

Emails to us

Emails to [email protected] are received by Cloudflare (Email Routing) and forwarded to our inbox at Google (Gmail). We keep emails for as long as needed to reply and handle the matter.

Retention at a glance

YouTube uploads (YouTube API Services)

TipAI uses YouTube API Services to publish TipAI’s educational Shorts to our YouTube channel TipAI (@tipaise) for the tipai.se audience. We only connect TipAI’s own channel — never visitors’ or anyone else’s YouTube accounts.

By using YouTube features you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms). The Google Privacy Policy also applies (http://www.google.com/policies/privacy).

What we access: TipAI accesses our own channel to upload videos and to read basic channel details (channel name and channel ID) so we can confirm that uploads go to the correct channel. We do not collect, store or share any data about website visitors or other YouTube users through YouTube API Services, and we do not use cookies for this.

Storage: the only data stored is the OAuth token for our own channel, kept locally on the owner’s computer. It is not shared with anyone. We delete it when TipAI no longer publishes via the YouTube API.

Revoking access: access can be revoked at any time via the Google security settings page (https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions). Questions and deletion requests: [email protected].

TipAI Poster (TikTok)

TipAI Poster is tipai.se’s product for publishing TipAI’s educational Shorts to the TikTok account @tipaise via TikTok Login Kit and the Content Posting API. Sign-in uses OAuth. The scopes used are user.info.basic (show the connected account), video.upload and video.publish (upload and publish selected videos).

What we access: tipai.se does not collect TikTok data from random website visitors. The only data stored is the OAuth token for @tipaise, so TipAI can publish to that account. The token is not shared with third parties outside TikTok’s API.

Revoking access: access can be revoked at any time in TikTok under Settings → Security and login → Manage app permissions. Questions and deletion requests: [email protected].

AI-generated content

Some TipAI content is created with the help of AI, for example images, the voices in our videos and the videos themselves. We label such content as AI-generated, for example with the platforms’ own AI-content labels on TikTok and YouTube. We do this to be open about what is AI, in line with the transparency requirements of the EU AI Act (Article 50). See something that should be labelled but isn’t? Email [email protected].

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it. You can lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
