Gemini gets a home page for small businesses – visuals in your style, sense out of receipts and links to Canva and Shopify
Google is launching new tools in the Gemini app for small business owners: a dedicated business home page, images that follow your brand style, help turning messy receipts and spreadsheets into charts, and connections to Canva, Shopify, Xero and more. It is rolling out globally to all Gemini users over the coming days.
On 20 October 2026 Google announced new tools for small business owners in the Gemini app. Most of them live on a new business landing page, where you can build your brand, analyse your finances and understand what your customers think.
You can now upload your website, brand kit, fonts or colours. Gemini remembers the style and uses the Nano Banana 2.1 image model to create visuals for product launches and campaigns that look like they belong together, without you uploading the guidelines every time.
Gemini can also turn messy spreadsheets, receipts and purchase records into clear charts and interactive models. You can also connect Gemini to Google services such as Google Business Profile, Google Ads and Google Workspace, and to apps like Adobe, Canva, Dropbox, Shopify, Wix, Zoho and Xero.
According to Google, the landing page, the new marketing and finance skills and the new connected apps start rolling out globally to all Gemini app users in the coming days. Google gives no price in the announcement, so expect the free version to have lower limits than the paid plans. Figures Gemini calculates from your receipts are a help, not bookkeeping. Always let your accountant or accounting software have the final say.
How to get started
- Open the Gemini app and look for the new business home page when it appears for you.
- Upload your logo, colours and fonts once, then ask for an image for this week's offer.
- Try pasting a month of receipts or a spreadsheet and ask for a chart of your costs, but double-check the totals.
- Only connect the apps you need, and remove connections you do not use.
